What if your child’s biggest struggles aren’t about effort or attitude, but invisible thoughts holding them back?
Let’s work on that, together!
What started as a bedtime story became a conversation. That conversation turned into a book. And somehow, that book—Dax to the Max: Blah Blah Blobs vs. Power Pods—made its way into homes, classrooms, and therapy offices across the country. It gave kids a name for the thoughts that trip them up. It gave parents a way to talk about what’s really going on. It gave siblings a reason to laugh through the hard parts. And it gave teachers and counselors a tool to use when nothing else seemed to stick.
I’ve heard from parents who said their child started using Blob names on their own—“Algo’s back,” or “That’s just Omi talking.” One mom told me her daughter drew her Blob with spiky hair and taped it to her wall so she could “talk back to it.” A dad said his son called out his Blob before a baseball game and finally stepped up to the plate. The story gave them something they didn’t have before—a shared language for what confidence really looks like when it’s hard.
This presentation is the next step.
Whether you’ve read the book or not, this experience is where the story comes alive—for your family. We’ll break down what’s happening inside the book, but more importantly, we’ll map it to what’s happening in your home: the slammed doors, the eye rolls, the shut-downs, the “I can’t” before anything’s even started.
You won’t get a lecture.
You won’t get a checklist.
You’ll get a real conversation—about the invisible stuff kids carry, and how we can help them carry it differently.
This isn’t about fixing them. It’s about seeing them. Naming what’s been unnamed. And helping them build a kind of confidence that doesn’t depend on gold stars or perfect scores.
Just like Dax did.

You know your child is smart, kind, and full of potential—but something’s holding them back. They freeze up when they’re unsure, melt down over small mistakes, or give up before they even try. You’ve tried pep talks. You’ve tried being patient. You’ve even tried being tough. But no matter what you do, it’s like their confidence has a secret switch that’s stuck on “I can’t.”
What you’re seeing isn’t bad behavior.
It’s not laziness.
It’s not just a “phase.”
It’s the Blobs.
In Scott Feld’s bestselling book Dax to the Max, the Blobs are the invisible voices that show up when a kid feels fear, self-doubt, or pressure to be perfect. And in this free training, you’ll learn how to help your child spot those thoughts—and build the confidence to beat them.
Below are three of the most common Blob patterns Scott sees in his coaching (and in his own home as a dad). If even one feels familiar, you’re in exactly the right place.
Your child avoids trying new things because they’re scared they’ll do it wrong. Whether it’s a math problem, a soccer drill, or raising their hand in class—they’d rather quit than get it “wrong.”
“If I don’t try, I can’t fail.”
That’s Blob Logic. And it keeps kids stuck.
Before they even begin, your child says things like:
“I can’t.” “I’m not good at this.” “This is too hard.”
That’s not them talking. It’s the Frenemy Voice—the Blob that pretends to protect them, but really holds them back.
In the book, Dax has to learn how to replace that voice with his BFF Voice—his Biggest Fan Forever.
One win and your child is on top of the world. One mistake and they crumble. Their self-worth rides a rollercoaster based on grades, goals, or praise.
Without the right mindset tools, they’re stuck in an all-or-nothing loop—and nobody’s having fun anymore.
"Before we met Scott, my son would shut down whenever things got hard. We tried encouragement, rewards, even therapy—but nothing helped him believe in himself. After just one call with Scott, everything started to shift. My son now talks about confidence in his own words. He’s more open, more willing to try, and best of all—he finally sees himself as capable. I didn’t know how much he needed this until I saw the difference it made.”

Let’s be real—telling your child “Just believe in yourself!” doesn’t work. Not because they don’t want to… but because they don’t know how.
Most confidence advice sounds good in theory—but without clear tools and language, it doesn’t stick. It bounces right off the Blobs.
And when kids don’t know how to handle fear, doubt, or failure, it shows up as:
🚫 Avoiding challenges
🚫 Quitting before they start
🚫 Meltdowns when things go “wrong”
🚫 Believing they’re just “not the confident type”
That’s why Scott created the Power-UP Formula—a playful, science-backed method that teaches kids:
How to Spot the Blob (notice negative thoughts)
How to Power Think (shift into helpful ones)
And how to PraX (practice) real confidence daily
In the book, Dax meets MAX—his superhero self—and learns that confidence isn’t magic… it’s a skill.
And now your child can learn it too.
No lectures. Just tools that actually work—because they’re fun, story-based, and built for kids to understand and use.
Let’s build real confidence from the inside out—starting today.
Meet Scott Feld —
The Coach Who
“Speaks Kid”
Hi, I’m Scott Feld. I’m a dad, a certified coach, and the author of Dax to the Max: Blah Blah Blobs vs. Power Pods—the story that sparked a movement to help kids build real confidence from the inside out.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked with kids in many settings including coach, teacher, instructor, and owner of one of San Diego’s most popular event companies. I now run exciting programs to help kids, all over the world, build confidence in fun ways. I can’t wait to help Power-UP your child too.
I’m a graduate of Landmark Education’s leadership programs, a master certified coach through The Life Coaching Institute, and a lifelong student of personal development. I’ve trained in dozens of courses on mindset, motivation, leadership, and communication—and now, I’ve distilled the best of it into something kids can actually use over and over again.
I created The Power-UP Experience to help kids rewire their inner dialogue and discover what they’re truly capable of.
But the truth is: this program isn’t just about kids.
It’s about you—and the role you play in shaping their self-belief.
Because when your words stop bouncing off… and start breaking through?
That’s when everything changes.
Let’s beat the Blobs together.
You’re not alone.
Most parents feel stuck when it comes to helping their child build confidence. You try to stay encouraging. You offer praise. You give them space. And yet… the same fears, meltdowns, and self-doubt keep popping back up.
It’s frustrating—not because you’re doing something wrong, but because your child is battling something invisible.
They’re not lazy.
They’re not dramatic.
They’re not “just sensitive.”
They’re dealing with Blobs—those sneaky inner voices that whisper:
“You’ll mess up.”
“What if they laugh at you?”
“Why even try?”
And just like Dax in the story, they need help learning how to spot those thoughts… and power-up.
That’s what this free presentation gives you:
✅ A clear plan
✅ A fun language you can share with your child
✅ And a proven 3-step framework to help them flip fear into fuel
This isn’t about pushing them harder.
It’s about giving them tools they actually understand—and want to use.
If your child could use a little more courage, bounce-back, and belief in themselves… this is how you help them get it.
Here is what people just like you, are asking...
This training is designed for parents of kids ages 7–12, but it’s helpful for anyone supporting a child who struggles with fear, frustration, or self-doubt—even if they’re a little younger or older.
Not at all. This is a parent-focused presentation. You’ll get tools and language you can use on your own, so you’ll feel confident helping your child—even if they’re not in the room.
Nope! The training stands on its own. But if your child has read the book, they’ll recognize the characters and ideas—which can make everything even more powerful.
Blobs are the invisible thoughts that make your child feel small, scared, or stuck. In the Dax to the Max universe, they’re characters like Algo (fear of getting hurt) or Atych (fear of failure). In real life, they show up as “I can’t” and “What if I mess up?” You’ll learn how to help your child recognize them—and push back.
It’s short, engaging, and packed with value. You’ll get everything you need in one focused session—plus the downloadable Power Guide to revisit anytime.
You’ll instantly receive the free digital Power Guide (PDF) and access details for the training. We’ll also send a few helpful tips by email to make the most of what you learn.
